South Mids - was three way race up to yesterday - Chalfont St Peter had played a ludicrous number of catch up games - 'reward' for getting as far as the vase semi-final - but in the end ran out of gas - held 0-0 on Thursday by the bottom club then lost 3-2 @ Biggleswade Town yesterday who themselves pip another long-term league leader Harefield to the title by ONE Goal!!

Poole Town with an incredible playing record up to Thursday of P40 W38 D2 - and having beaten bottom club Horndean 10-0 on Tuesday, have lost their last two league games of the season 1-5 at home by Wimborne and yesterday 0-3 @ Brockenhurst - probably dispirited about their refused application for promotion .
