Palace had the extra complication of already having taken a match day squad up to Newcastle last night before the administrators were appointed.

They then stipulated that Moses couldn't play, and potentially a couple of the others as well.

Getting extra subs up there, when they wouldn't get a game would've been an unnecessary expense and probably quite difficult by that time.

That's sounds possible. I wonder if you then register some of the youth team as eligible for the first team that then precludes them from playing back in the youths?

Pretty sure it doesn't.

But after a meeting with the administrators he has confirmed he is staying on as manager.

That is one meeting I would have quite enjoyed.

How are Pompey still allowed to buy players even on loan despite being in so much debt that they cannot even afford to keep their own website going...

Mr Angry
Deadlock
cheeryoleary Mr. A is listiening to BBCRB. Should put Palace in 21st place, 4 pts ahead of us.

20th - they'll be above Scunny on goal difference.

After last night, they are in 21st.

Also, the administrator rang Warnock yesterday afternoon and instructed him not to play Victor Moses as he (the administrator) didn't want the Creditor's most prized asset possibly getting injured. The interview the man gave with SSN this morning was priceless...

"When I informed Mr Warnock of my decision he made his feelings that he was upset with the decision very clear, but agreed that it was my call to make"

:D :D :D

I wonder JUST how many swear words Colin used in that phone conversation!!!!!

Also, Palace only had 3 subs last night.

You still don't like him do you, Mr A?

Having said that, it brings back good memories of your call to 606 after the Sheff Utd game in the first season of the Premiership

"Mr Warnock - I think it's time that you seriously considered your position" - cue Alan Green almost having a heart attack

Cardiff will really be in the shit unless they get promoted. If they're using the ST sales to pay this years tax bill, where are they going to get any money from for next season? And how can Risdale have the gall to try to pass this off as a "misunderstanding" when last week he categorically said they had other money to pay the tax bill and the ST money would be used for players. It was a blatent untruth.

Especially if they're then not going to pay them...

I haven't stopped laughing at the idea that a deal has been done involving Harry Rednapp's club, has Peter Storrie moaning he knew nothing about it!

So that's neither Avram nor Storrie being informed. Who's doing the deals? Al Faraj himself?
