He's always been like that which is why at usually takes him 2 years to piss off everyone associated with whatever club he's managing at the time. It happened at Inter, it happened at Real and its only the lemmings in the British media and a large section of the Chelsea support who still fall for the Special One bullshit.

He thinks he's bigger than the club, which may wash somewhere that hasn't won a the league for nigh on 50 years but doesn't get you anywhere when the expectation is that you win things every season. He can't handle scrutiny.

Royal Rother I don't think it's really a question of whether he is good enough, more that the image he presents and the short-termism of his planning don't fit with Man Utd's ethos.

I really thought United would be above going down this route as I totally agree, he's just not a good fit.

sandman This is brilliant. At Madrid he accused Casillas, Ramos, the youth team coach and anyone he could of being back stabbers.

At Chelsea he does the same to pretty much everybody, even including the Doctor and the physio.

Now he stabs his mentor in the back and gets his agent to leak the information. What a hypocritical piece of shit.

You have to wonder how much censor United will try to put on Mourinho to prevent him causing untold damage to their brand and if they do curtail his appalling behaviour, and short termist management, how that will limit his effectiveness.

Plus coaching staff

And most likely Giggs, the ever present assistant for the last two managers...

TBF I can't imagine Giggs would want to work under Mourinho. Would be good to see him take a manager's job at a lower level.

"oxf*rd off Mourinho" said Manchester United fans not so long ago.

Some reports are saying he'll be asked to stay on as part of the new setup.

I tend to agree that if United aren't going to give him the job himself then he needs to get out and prove himself to stand a chance of getting it himself one day.

Would a decent size club want to give him the job knowing that they're just his guinea pig? Perhaps the benefits to that might outweigh any negatives.

It'll be interesting to see if they now back their club or jump on the managers back from day one.

They're pretty good supporters at United, by and large, so I'd expect them to be supportive. Not all clubs would be like that I guess.

Won't be long before they're saying it again.

Have Leeds sacked Evans? They seem to be very publically looking for a replacement.

According to the EP, Mr Parkinson is wanted at Derby and Forest and Bradford's new owners want Uwe Rosler.

He's done a good job at Bradford so it doesn't surprise me really. I'd still like to see him come back to Reading at some point.
