just learned that the Spanish FA have a rule that you cannot manage 2 different clubs in the same division in the same season.

I learned this as Valencia are trying to get Marcelino García Toral as their new manager but he was managing Villarreal until the summer when he got sacked. he was sacked before the first game of this season but after 1st July which is when the Spanish FA say the season starts. Valencia are appealing this asking if they can have him
