Bolton not the only club with the same issues regarding paying staff and players. Bury, Macclesfield and Oxford all in the same boat. Tiger is doing a marvellous job at Oxford, God bless him!

Hope I'm wrong for their fans but do have a feeling Bolton may be gone today.

2 week adjournment was given as a named buyer and lawyer's letter was given to the judge claiming the deal was close. Appears that was misjudged - will take a very fogiving judge to give much more (if any) time today.

The Council Security Advisory Group have decided that if Bolton survive tomorrow's winding up order then there will not be enough time to adequately ensure the safety of attendees so have put a prohibition order on the stadium.

Not clear if this means the games can still go ahead behind closed doors.

Two options. Postpone the games or play them behind closed doors. Got to be the latter as there just isn’t the time to rearrange and other teams around Bolton would no doubt give the FL serious earache if they felt Bolton were going to get an advantage by building up games in hand

Or fold the club with immediate effect, resign from the league and forfeit all remaining matches.

Probably not one they'll opt for but should be left on the table nonetheless.

It's a ridiculous amount of money going to middle men though.

The club would end up paying it either way though wouldn't it? Direct to the agent (more transparent and keeps the wage bill down perhaps) or via the player as increased wages and signing on fees if they're then passing on those agent fees from their side.
