genome Historically it doesn't work. Newcastle and Villa last year, Norwich 2014, Us in 2013, Wolves in 2011 and 2012. All of them sacked managers in March/April when threatened with relegation and none survived.
Sunderland seem to be the only team who can do it and have it work (2013 and 2014)
