That's a good result for Bayern IMO.

Well pointed out. I was on the fence about it.

No Fixed Abode People like Winchester Royal are your typical novice fan. Getting highly carried away by one performance. Bayern were very poor against Arsenal a few weeks back and now they're the greatest team on the Planet. Remember, even Reading on their day can get a point against the reigning European Champions. Doesn't mean they'll avoid the drop. One top performance in the semi 1st leg doesn't win you the trophy.

Yeah, this is a one-off performance from Bayern this season. It's not like they've won the German league with 6 games to spare, got to the cup final after a 6-1 win, and onle eased off against Arsenal after spanking them at the Emirates is it?

You've proved my point here. Domestically has nothing to do with it. Look at Chelsea's domestic form last season.

Hold on Kes... Bayern just beat Barcelona 4-0 in a CL semi-final and you're questioning their European quality?

You really are a special case.

Its not just one performance though, bar the Arsenal game they have been superb to watch this season both domestically and in Europe....

Who were the 'superb' team in the last 4 a year ago? Did they win the UCL?
Just so much knee jerk jizz festness over Bayern and suddenly Barca are an inept team. Few weeks ago the likes of Winch Royal would have been saying Barca were the best team in Europe.

I don't disagree that they may not win it but their form this season in all competitions has been very good and very consistent.....it wasn't a fluke they won 4-0 tonight.

Not questioning their quality at all. I'm just saying a 4 zip win over Barca in the semi 1st leg doesn't win you the trophy. The likes of you get far too carried away.

Bayern have shown they are the model to run the perfect club.

They make shed loads of money, have a top stadium and have some of the best players in the world.

You say don't judge on one performance, Bayern absolutely dismantled Arsenal at the Emirates.

And it will all count for nothing if they fail again in the UCL.

Not really.

They have won the league title on a canter.

They are signing one of the best young players in world football for £37m.

They are going to be managed by one of the most successful managers ever.

They are the powerhouse of Europe at the moment. They have built that club up to be the perfect model, and good luck to them. A great example of how to be successful.
