My thoughts are that the improvement in Arsenal as a result of Cech being in the team will be at least as much as Sanchez brought to them last season.

The fact that anyone might think Courtois is the better 'keeper (including me) is completely irrelevant to the above of course.

To say he's a has-been is plainly cuckoo.

Lux must be getting a little twitchy.

Well for Arsenal's sake I hope you're wrong as they were 4 points worse with Sanchez in the side...

As for Cech, I think it'll be a massive signing for them. The kind of keeper they've been crying out for since at least Lehmann left, which must be over 5 or 6 years ago now?

Signing the 3rd or 4th best keeper in the league when your previous keeper would struggle to make the top 10 can only be a massive improvement.

Clyne to Liverpool confirmed for £12.5m

That's £45million they've spent so far this summer. Will be another disaster if they don't make the top 4 again next season.

Agreed although I'm presuming most (all) of this will be offset by Serling's fee after he's bitten someone and is let go.

Derby sign Ince for a record £4.75m. Two things spring to mind:

1) Where are they getting all this money from to fund their summer spending?
2) How on earth will they meet FFP?

Are they taking a massive punt on going up and then worrying about it (known as Loftus Road Syndrome)

Falcao joins Chelsea on loan. It could be a master stroke of a signing.
