3.72/1 being offered on a Scunny & Carlisle away double, which I am very tempted to take but Coventry have recently had quite the resurgence.

What are people's thoughts for the weekends bettathon?

I wonder what has happened to him? Maybe he is so immersed in his random Brazilian 2nd division games he's gone on holiday to do live in play betting

I am offering up the following accumulator at 7.42/1

Slovakia to beat Lithuania
Carlisle to beat Newport
Croatia to beat N.Ireland
Australia to beat Thailand

If you add England to that and you get 10.79/1

I have been travelling around a lot these last couple of weeks with work.

First of all, Sanguine wanted to see what happened on Bet365. Here it is:

I funded the account with £100. Received another £100 bonus from Bet365 and had to turn it into more than £600 before I could make a withdrawal due to turnover requirements and Bet365's terms and conditions relating to the bonus. That is why I went all in on Roma with £450. I wouldn't have been able to withdraw £450. There was probably a better way I could have played it out. I did have 90 days to meet the turnover requirements, but, I couldn't be bothered. I don't think it is possible to consistently profit on Bet365 so I was just going for a short, sharp attempt and see what happens. Basically it was a kind of accummulator bet even though I did it in singles and the initial stake was £100.

You have gone to 1500? You should withdraw it all and close your account then you have 1000 profit.

This is a screenshot of my deposits and withdrawals into Betfair since early August. I couldn't get it to go further back than that. As you can see though, the account has not been funded. The only credits are a couple of transfers between the main betfair wallet and the Australian wallet for betting on Aussie events and then back again. Betfair have now scrapped the Aussie wallet.

Apart from a withdrawal of a £100 towards the end of August to ensure that I wasn't betting with my own money. I have withdrawn a further £500 into my bank account and also a moneybookers account once I was above the £1000 target in the last couple of weeks.
Despite taking out £500, I am still on £1434.

So, now I'm thinking what to do next. I might not withdraw again and try and go for a £10K target. Or, I might go up in increments and take withdrawals along the way.

I might set the next target at £1900 then withdraw £200 when I get there so I'm on £1700 and then set the next target at £2300 and do a similar £200 withdrawal and so on until I get to £10000. Or maybe I shouldn't push my luck. Maybe I should just take the money and run.

Top Flight what bets did you do to get up to 1400? I remember you were on maybe 600 or something and it's more then doubled? You must have been on a great run.

Just cashed out on the 2nd bet with Croatia winning near HT. Being offered nearly the full amount anyway. £28 from £5 will do for the kitty.

Yesterday I withdrew another £247 from my betting account to end with a balance of £1200.

I deposited £100 in July. I have withdrawn a total of £847.85. A realised profit of £747.85. Money which I have withdrawn and am already using. I still have £1200 in my betting account which increased to £1257 after I successfully laid Greece in their match with Bosnia last night.

The reason I set a target of getting to a grand was because I wanted to have a betting bank to play with so that I can make money from it. I was going to have a £1000 account as the betting bank and then withdraw any money above £1000 at the end of each week. If the account is below £1000 then I have to use the bank to bet with to recover the balance back to a grand before I can withdraw from it. So the idea is to have a £1000 account and withdraw the excesses. Now, I think maybe a grand isn't enough of a buffer. So I have increased my buffer to £1200. But betting with £1200 means I should only risk £20 or £30 on each bet if I am to bet sensibly. Problem is, I can't help but now stake £100 or £200 on each match. I risked £153 last night to win £60 as long as Bosnia didn't lose. If I have a bad run losing 4 or 5 in a row, my account will quickly get wiped out.

For the time being I am not now looking to increase the account any further, I am just going to ensure that I have £1200 in there and anything above £1200 will be withdrawn every Sunday night. I will follow that until January and see how it works. From January though, I may stop withdrawing and make a big push to get the account to ten grand. Then I can stake £100 or £200 on a match and it will only be a risk of 1% or 2% of my betting account.
