match between Atlético de Madrid and Athletic Club had to be stopped momentarily due to racist insults being shouted against Nico Williams from the stands. Minutes after, Nico scored the equaliser and celebrated by pointing at his skin.

SanguineWinston Biscuit 97th minute equaliser for Leverkusen to keep the unbeaten Bundesliga season going
They will just not be beaten.
89th minute equaliser at West Ham last week.
On 30th March they beat Hoffenheim 2-1, having been a goal behind after 88 minutes.
Two weeks earlier they were 2-1 behind at home to Qarabag in the Europa League after 93 minutes, and they won 3-2.
In the first leg at Qarabag they had equalised in the 92nd minute.
Third game of the season at Bayern they equalised through a 94th minute penalty.

Winston Biscuit as a very casual observer of Scotch football can someone help me understand why there is a clamour from the rubbish sides to make it into the top half of the table for when the split happens? (or is there not a clamour and its just a media thing)
Its surely much better to be the best side in the bottom half than the worst side in the top half?
If you look at the table now, Dundee made it into the top half, but the only prize you get from league placing (aside from money for league placing) is european qualification if you finish top 4, which they are obviously not going to do. So really they are not fighting to see if they can just finish 6th or maybe get 5th, while likely losing most of their final 6 games, whereas Hibs finished 7th so are in the bottom half after the split, but will more than likely have a lovely old run in for the final 6 games and win most of them.
Is it just owners that want a top half finish for a slightly better payday (and extra old firm visit)? from a fans point of view I would much rather finish in 7th and than 6th before the splitScreenshot from 2024-05-03 08-51-38.png

Winston Biscuit 3rd win in a row for mine and El Franquicia's boys, FC Cartagena, and you would think that should be enough to avoid relegation really.
What a 2nd half of the season!
they won just 1 of their first 17 games they had 9 points and were somewhat adrift at the bottom. In the 15 games after that they got 9 wins and 2 draws and were consistently one of the form teams over the last few months
I was going to laugh at Leganes again throwing away automatic promotion but they just got a 94th minute winner
