Ideal Solskjær being linked today with the Wolves job. However in the same piece of sloppy journalism they also state that the other "target" is Paul Ince. Does sound like they are a bit desperate..

They were linked with him before they approached McD.

Rotherham United have approached Crawley to speak to Steve Evans about their vacant managers position.

Not really sure about that one myself. Horrible little character, Evans.

Indeed....gets (lower echelon promotions tho') but why would he want to go to Rotherham?

Expected to take over at Rotherham today.

Rotherham are 6 points off the play-off's. It does seem a funny decision, but they have a nice new stadium (New York Stadium) to look forward to next season and a stable infrastructure in place to take the club forward. All is not well behind the scenes at Crawley, hence selling their two top scorers in January.

Only one manager has ever taken fewer points from his 1st 7 PL games at a club than Terry Connor:

Mick McCarthy (Sunderland, 0pts). Mentor!

My sources tell me they've played 5 games this year, he's started two of them and come on as a sub in a further 2. He is yet to score.

These days??? He's always been a bitter man - he's still pissed that he's never got his "dream job" at the Mad Stad.

Re: the moronic claim about a woman PL manager within 10 years.

In Norway we finally succumb to the pressure and appointed a female manager of the womens national team.
And we've never been as shit as this. Ever. Ever. Ever.
Norway used to win everything in women's football. Now we are what San Marino are to men's football.
All because we appointed a woman to be the manager.

It just doesn't work. Even for a team of women.

I quote the infamous coach and tv pundit Ivar Hoff:
"What's the deal with womens football, it isn't football and they're not women."

Well there's more than one moronic claim here,

So now Guardiola has decided not to stay on as Barca manager - who should they get?

Arsene Wenger?
Marcelo Bielsa?
Luis Enrique?
Rafa Benitez?
Johan Cruyff?

Really impressed with Bilbao last night. His high-tempo, hard-pressing, fluid football might be just what Barca need. Nearly as photogenic as Guardiola too.
