Huntley & Palmer Premier League get dispensation to allow transfer to go through after 5pm if it is delayed due to weather issues

Farcical

Hopefully this is caveated with something along the lines of "confirmation of an accepted transfer pending a medical has to be received by the FA by 17:00".

Yes - agreement has to be made in principle and registered by 5 pm - it's tying up details like medicals etc that will be allowed after then, not complete new transfers.

A bit like Harding, insurance policy for top half in the Premiership Fulham.

Arsenal now "very close" to having a deal done for Arshavin (sp?).

Sticking point apparently is Zenit want money out of the player, not sure how that works.

Huntley & Palmer LOLZ at Leroy phoning the twat Sky bloke who generates the transfer rumours on SSN during his live piece. Indeed, Micah Richards has just done the same

Go back a page or three and read.

Basically told the gimpy little twat on SSN that it was unlikely anything would happen for him.

Old news

13.56 Middlesbrough are still looking to bring in James Harper from Reading although the two clubs are currently struggling to agree terms over a sell-on clause.

Not sure where you got that, but Sky rubbished that earlier. Southgate the source reiterating no deal.

Arshavin all but signed apparently. Now up to the player to decide what matters most, some pennies and staying at a club he doesn't want to be at, or pay up and join a big Premier League club.

Boylesports into 1/8 that Keane is a Spurs player by close of window.

Was 1/12 half an hour ago...

9/2 he stays with Liverpool. Was 6/1.

He rang while the lad was chatting about his 'sources' and cut Leroy off. Seconds later another call came through from Micah Richards.

Dos Santos deal is now dead. Not going to Pompey!

Two things:

1. Do not underestimate the power of the plusone.

and

2. Unlike you slack students, some of us are at work without the "luxury" of SSN in the background
