Orion1871 Real Madrid can only draw away to Las Palmas, already 4 points behind Barca, and looking very disjointed in attack with Vinicius and Mbappé not working at all. I doubt Oli Mcburnie bullying Antonio Rudiger and Eder Militao was on anyone's la liga bingo card this season.

I could definitely see him headbutting them in the tunnel.

Leverkusen lose to Leipzig. First Bundesliga loss since the 22/23 season

I'd missed this, but the official name of the French top division this season is Ligue 1 McDonald's.

Wasn't long ago that it would get commented on how almost no English players would go abroad, but its amazing how quickly its become so much more common that its almost not even noteworthy now.

AC Milan started with 2 english players at the weekend, and a 3rd came on as a substitute. If you'd said that 20 years ago it would have blown my mind.

Get the feeling that Rafael Leao didn't like being criticised by Di Canio on pundit duty for yesterday's game

They had Blissett, Hateley and Wilkins in the 80's.

Not all English but Sampdoria had Francis, Souness and Brady about the same time.

Not to mention the post Italia90 exodus - Platt, Walker, Gascoigne, Dichio etc

It think it mainly died down when the big money really started to roll into the Premier League and when English clubs started winning in Europe again in the late 90s

Listening to a Euro pod right now and they say Sevilla have a huge fight on their hands to not be relegated this season. Poorly performing team, highly paid players they can't offload, club finances a mess etc. didn't realise it had got that bad.
