cmonurz Olympiakos 15/8 to beat Bremen at home, and over 2.5 goals Madrid v Lazio, at 8/11.

8)

3 in a row, this is unchartered territory for me.

One bet tonight.

Rangers v Lyon - over 2.5 goals looks great value at 5/4. 4 of Lyon's 5 matches have had 3 goals or more so far, and the French team need to win to progress.

Only other 'live' games are in Group G, but Fenerbache are too short at 2/7, and PSV/Inter depends too much on the side Inter put out.

Feeling flush from the Swansea (backed them at -2.0 goals on the handicap) and then Liverpool at 1.93 on Betfair tonight's bet is Roma at 5/6.
Man Utd will surely have an eye on their biggest game of the season (away at Anfield on Sunday) so 5/6 for an Italian side playing at home strikes me as fair value.

BTW cmonurz you watched the Swansea game-what great free-flowing a passing game Swansea played.
Presumably this is the influence of Martinez and we should keep an eye on his progress for when Steve Coppell calls it a day.
It reminded me of the McGhee style but they might need a new left-back if they are to maintain their promotion push, otherwise they looked a good set-up with decent attacking options from the bench.

I wouldn't be suprised if Man Utd get a draw tonite and Rangers win.

Torquay away is my banker though. 8/11 Ladbrokes.

4 in a row. I think I should retire from this gambling lark, it's too easy.

Yes, BR, Swansea played some fantastic football, if only against a Ryman Premier League team, but they look far and away the best footballing team in League One this season. Martinez seems a very natural manager - iirc he played for Wigan, and then Swansea?

Yes. During his playing days (at Walsall and Wigan especially) he was a dirty little cheating git. Play off semi final v Wigan and a visit to Walsall in Aug '02 stand out as him annoying me.

Only just stumbled across this thread don't normally look at this forum.

Is it football only?

If not Marco Fu is a massive 2.2 on BF to beat Selby this afternoon.

We've revolutionised the industry Yorks. You or your other bookmaker chums could have done the same but were too set in your ways.

Tails
soggy biscuit Having not won for a while I need to top up my kitty and so just opted for a 5 fold on:

Man Utd
Everton
Chelsea
West Brom
Liverpool
Aldershot

£10 returns £72

Oh well, not a all bad though is it?

I had £5 in my skybet account, I put £4.98 on the above bet on a 5 fold and the 5 fold comes in. Having just returned from a few days away I check my account to see what my new balance is and it says......£5.04

I won 6p on the above 5 fold????? What the f*** is that about??

Can someone help me to understand what happened here?

Liverpool lost for a start. so presumably you did 6 5-folds and a 6-fold?

One out of the 6 5-folds won you £5.04?

Picked 6 matches and put £4.98 down as a 5-fold. 5 teams then won and I got £5.04 back (which should include my original stake)

I know I am a novice gambler but this just baffles me!

But you can't put 6 teams down as a 5-fold its either a 6-fold or 6 x 5-folds split between your stake. Which means you had less than £1 going onto the 5 winning games at shite odds hence winning what you did....

ahh I see what you mean. It was then a 6 x 5 fold

Note to self - stick to accumulators, 5-fold's are w**k.
