What a joyful player to watch Isco is. Ran rings around his former employers tonight as Betis beat Real Madrid 2-1.

I just learned that the phrase tiki-taka was created as a derogatory term and was used in Spain to describe football with loads of pointless passing that ultimately goes nowhere. It was an insult that Athletic Bilbao manager Javier Clemente used against Luis Menotti when he was Barcelona Manager.

Apparently Guardiola always denies strongly that his teams have played tiki-taka, because that negative meaning is the one he is saying they don't play

PSV must be ****. Losing 5-1 at home to an Arsenal that can’t score

and at the bottom, the less said about my Cartagena boys the better (thoughts & prayers with Franchise who is still attending their games). With 4 going down, Zaragoza are in danger of doing even worse than Zaragoza usually do and actually getting pulled into the relegation zone

Similar scenes in the German second tier. Four points between Hamburger SV (top) and Hannover 96 (8th).

Btw Winst what website are those league tables from? And how are you attaching to the post?

below the submit button you have options and attachments, just click Add file and select something from your desktop

The screenshots of league tables I post on here are usually just from google as they have quite a nice simple look to them. I think people don't realise that google has live running league tables in so when games were on, like last night, I keep the google league table up and it moves around as goals go in

I quite like Soccerway for up to date league tables if I want to see more info. maybe I will create a thread for us to post links to the things we use to follow football

Ta very much!

I do like Soccerway for statistical nuggets. Like Salah only being 1st goalscorer four times this season. Or United being in the relegation zone based on half-time result.

Robert Lewandowski's goal against Sociedad at the weekend took him to 406 senior league goals in his career and into 12th on his own ahead of Gerd Muller (405). He needs five more to go into the top-10 all time (and in doing so, will go past Luis Suarez on 410).

Lewandowski has 34 goals in 37 games this season, at the age of 36.

Wonder what the oldest is at which someone has scored more goals than their age in a season?

Here is former Everton and Wolves man Segundo Castillo on the touchline as manager of Barcelona in Equador, currently sitting top of the Equadorian Seria A in the seasons early days
