From Despair To Where? Do Barnsley have a sell on clause? Could be a good bit of business for them too.

7.5m they received apparently.

Not bitter after missing out on him last year then?

I'm just pointing out that Everton fans said money can't buy you Stones. When in fact, it can.

4 teams have broken the billion £ barrier in Premier League spending.

1) Man City
2) Man Utd
3) Chelsea
4) Liverpool

I'm sure you probably retweeted it - or something just as unfunny!

Palace supposed to have agreed a fee for Benteke for £27m initial plus £5m in add ons, "smashing" their transfer record.

Score 3 own goals in two games and get sent off, apparently you're worth £4m

Jem Karacan has left Galatasaray by mutual consent and was seen down at The Cottage on Saturday. Strong rumour he'll be a Fulham player shortly.....

Apart from Long and Siggy - has anyone who has left us destined for bigger things, actually made it "big"?

Sidwell had a decent record after leaving us. I think it could've been better had he stayed with us for another year or gone to another middling premier league club - just because he would've got more first team opportunities.

Doyle hasn't made a bad crack at it either.

I don't think Sidwell really kicked on after leaving us - yeah he went to Chelsea but wasn't a superstar there and no better than he was for us.
