Can I personally register my disgust of Sky Sport News' "Treatment" of Peter Storrie last night. I nearly threw my shoe at the TV.

Piers Morgan would have less sycophantic. Hang your head in shame SSN.

AthleticoSpizz
Ian Herring No sympathy. Just a shame it wasn't a more 'iconic' club to collapse first.

The Premiership. Or Premier League. Or whatever you want to call what was once Division One of the Football League.

Where's your 39th game now, Scudamore, you tosser?

F*ck off.
yeah enter Rangers and Celtic lol

Whoa - hadn't considered that, but this could be the opportunity that the Premier League have been looking for to get Celtic/Rangers in. If only they can find another one to go out of business by the end of the season.

He sounds stressed, perhaps he could find a way to relieve his tension?

Broke the rules = points being deducted. FACT. Deal with it.

The alternative could be to prevent them playing certain players that they signed when clearly not having the funds to do so. Then let the results on the pitch decide.

The total lack of humility in that interview is incredible; almost saying that rules which all clubs agreed to when joining the Premier League shouldn't apply to them!!!

Avram - Pompey aren't the victims here; the club spent money they didn't have and couldn't pay back to gain an unfair advantage ocer other clubs, of course the football club should be punished for that, and the alternative to a points deduction is to be thrown out of the League.

Think he is only coming out with this tripe to become the King of the Pikey City while they are still paying his £950,000 a year salary.

He will ditch the sovereign rings and shellsuits quicker than you can say circumcised if a top european club came sniffing around for his services.

I too was mystified how Grant can say their fate should be decided on the pitch not in the courtroom, whilst omitting to mention it would be using players they couldn't really afford.

To be honest, it's the football world in a nutshell. It doesn't matter what football people do wrong, they never seem to accept they've done wrong, or that any punishment is fair.

Not sure if it will come to much, sounds like they are looking for a technicality over whether Chainrai had the authority to take the club into Administration.

But if that technicality is upheld, then they're back to the winding up order.

That's not really a "technicality" is it?

True, but I can't believe that they didn't cover themselves when taking that step, or can 'produce' some paperwork to that effect now......

It would be a sweet sweet justice if HMRC wins this...and quite possibly have every other club reaching for their cheque books in a nice timely matter.

Never forget this is your money they have squandered, some might say, stolen.
