soggy biscuit My favourite bit was when RVP immediately jumped up to have a tantrum at the Swansea player only for someone else to trip him up

RumpoleVictor Meldrew Just watched Ferguson's post match interview.
For those posting on AE regarding the death pool you might care to add the old git-his face looked a bloated and red mess-I see cardiac problems on the horizon.
How that man (generally) gets away with saying outrageous things and bringing the game into dispute and not getting punished is just so cowardly from the FA and Premier League.
Today's offerings after only getting a draw (amazingly not much is said whenever they win however spawny tthat might be) were worthy of greater punishment than he has suggested for Williams the Swansea defender
Firstly he spoke about the ref having a shocker, being young and inexperienced etc.
Secondly for those that haven't seen it Van Persie bought a free-kick on the edge of the Swansea boss and Williams angrily kicked the ball at Van Persie (something that happens in most games) who was on the gground and the ball hit him on the head.Van Persie (unhurt) immediately jumped up and started a fight-both players were quite rightly booked.
Ferguson then calls for a lengthy ban for Williams as if it were attempted murder as he felt that Williams had tried to kill him-actually he kicked the balll at him and rather than hit him on the body it hit his head.
Ferguson then said it was one of the worst things he had ever seen in football-oh yeh,Keane stamping on the City player as he lay on the ground,Paul Scholes making a career of blatantly kicking people etc. etc.
He would be the first to complain if a foreigner waived an imaginary yellow card but here he is doing the same thing, looking for an opponent to be punished.
He may have been knighted,he may have brought Man Utd their most consistent period of achievement at the top level but he has done more to damage the image of football than any other manager I can remember.
Will he be charged with bringing the game into dispute again, will he f***.
At the end of this season he will probably be replaced by the next worst ,Jose Mourinho.
Marauding Dog and Retro whatever he calls himself has emerged on here and his diabolical manners mirror those of his favourite leader-normally one would blame the parents for producing such a malicious and distasteful low-life but in his case I also blame this manager for influencing him so badly.
Has fergie shagged your missus or something? You couldn't be more obviously jealous of an absolute genius if you tried.
As Kes would put it: RattLOLed.
Seriously, man, you're a mess. When a bitter, twisted, maudlin old scouser agrees with you about football, you know you've hit rock bottom. I hope you're not left alone over Christmas.

Rev Algenon Stickleback H Kicking a ball at a player is a red card if deliberate. It wasn't that long ago that a Bristol City player at the Madejski got a red card for kicking the ball into the crowd. I'd love to hear Fergie's take if he got a player sent off for that.
SAF after Everton 1-0 Man Utd, 20/04/2005 said not You can't kick a ball at a spectator nowadays and Gary Neville should know that. There was intimidation from spectators but you expect that, this was a derby match and Gary should have known better.

I would suggest my learned (?) friend that you stick to the law and leave the psychology to the experts.
Bloody amateurs-typical of the pompous legal beagles who think they are experts in all walks of life when in reality they tend to know so little other than the law.
My loving and very well balanced family will be around me over Christmas and we will celebrate that none of us has any semblance of jealousy amongst us,a trait inherited from my mother for which I am most grateful.
I hope you are not so quick to make judgements on your clients otherwise I fear that your career might turn out to be rather short and unsuccessful.
Maturity, modesty and use of good manners might serve you well as aims in life but it seems as though currently you are a long way off-must try harder as you mightl otherwise be the one who ends up as a sad old man.
Happy Christmas

Schards#2 Looks like Ferguson has a different set of rules applied to him than every other manager in league. Openly berating the ref, linesman and fourth official - jabbing his finger, outside his technical area. Any other manager would have been sent to the stands and subsequently banned but, from what I could see, no action taken whatsoever.

retro_royal 90th minute winner for City against Reading, stands half empty.
Stands full at United all the way through to full time on 99.minutes.
Did the City fans have somewhere to go?

Well if the ref is going to apply his own set of rules its only fair Fergie can do the same.
