Glad Bayern won it after last year.

Made all the better by the fact they beat Dortmund and their annoying manager.

Thought Bayern Munich edged it overall, Dortmund started to get a bit hit-and-hope in the second half and the good chances were all coming at the one end. Gotze was a big miss as their creativity just lacked some sparkle.

I like Lahm and Neuer but very much dislike Robben and Ribery. The latter in particular is as an absolutely ghastly chap. He's all elbows and dives and seems to lack any class whatsoever.

Loved that final. I did really want Dortmund to win but Bayern did edge it, and Weidenfeller was probably Dortmund's best player.

They are quite a hard team to like, but they've had heartbreak enough in the past so I don't begrudge them this success. There is no question that they're the best in Europe this year. There's a good chance they'll be the dominant power over the next few years I woud have thought.

Also, it's great that Chelsea aren't Champions of Europe anymore.

That was a nasty swing with the arm from Ribery tonight and iirc a little dive later too. Only bettered by the petulant 'stamp' from Lewandowsky. Both should have been in for early baths.
