Also, Monday evening is an option I believe. Just think you can go and watch Reading and go along to this game to watch some football.

Maidenhead's website currently says...

The precise date and kick-off time is expected to be confirmed by the FA by the end of the week. Details of advance ticket sales will also be released in the next few days once the club has consulted the relevant authorities

Wheels falling off at Reading City. One of the managers has left and they have lost two of their better players including Mitch Parker.

Yep he was banging them in. Don't think he has signed for anyone yet, will be amazed if someone like Binfield didn't move heaven and Earth to get him.

Just read that he signed for Bracknell before playing for Reading City. Probably just gone to them.

Losing quite a few players and the funding if rumours are to believed.

After all that fanfare and re-branding it's not taken long for the wheels to come off has it...

I'm not going to say I told anyone so because I get no pleasure in non-league clubs struggling but I did speak about their funding a couple of months back, I heard then it was not a solid set up.

You were right about this and also about how Club1871 was a failure.

Club 1871 was never going to work. Reading City should have worked and was working quite well. They were doing well on the pitch and very well off it, getting lots of positive press and new supporters. Never like to see non-league clubs struggling, will only get worse from here too.

The Port Vale v Sunderland one is just an odd choice. Waste of a live game.

.. agreed - hardly 'magic of the Cup' eh?

Admittedly the 'Mackems' might pull a bigger audience but they're only at a mid-table L2 side.
.... probably Dong Goodman's influence - or is he exclusively @ Sky nowadays?

I'd have thought W-S-M v Wrecsam or 'The Ol' Bill' vs Newport would be more of interest to the neutral viewers?
(not that Met Police FC have much, if any, connection to the 'Filth' anymore anywhose...... :? )

....or for upset potential: Maidstone Utd v Macclesfield?

Tbf beating Macclesfield isn't much of an upset

Will be interesting to see Haringey . My old uni football coach is their manager.

Met Police v Newport should have been on tv.
