Winston Biscuit Another clean sheet for Burnley. Almost 17 hours of league football since they last conceded

Ironically, given the record they look about to break, Reading are the only side to score against them this year.

Spurs v Utd - should be good for a laugh. Winner stays up.

This rivalry is so big to you, you must be really looking forward to the chance to break our record in the Championship next season.

Liverpool nearly totally fcuked up a routine home win there. First time they have played 45 minutes at Anfield without a shot on target for over 20 years.

But they got the win.

1 - it's Liverpool or Arsenal for the title now. It probably was already, but Forest aren't making up 13 points, and even City can't do 16.
2 - The next week might decide things. If Liverpool retain this cushion after trips to Villa and City, they might/should be home and dry, probably two of their three toughest fixtures remaining.

2a - PL fixtures are odd. After the Newcastle game on 26th, Liverpool will have played five games in 15 days. With international break and cup ties, they then play just one the next 34 days.

Even though they did have a goal that was disallowed and what should have been a penalty from Agdabou’s arse.

I have to say the whole "They're playing 5 times in 15 days!!11!1!!" drama is just, what? 2 midweek games in a row?

Does seem mad that they then only have 1 league game for a month though. All those Arsenal bots on my facebook will be getting very excited.

Just unusual I think that those five games are all league games. In reality it's just one set of midweek fixtures plus the rearranged Everton game.

March really is looking rather pathetic for PL fixtures…;

    Sat/Sun March 1/2 - FA Cup 5
    Sat/Sun March 8/9 - PL fixtures
    Sat/Sun March 15/16 - PL fixtures/League Cup Final
    Sat/Sun March 22/23 - ******* international cr@p back
    Sat/Sun March 29/30 - FA Cup 6

Just 2 weekends out of 5 for PL games, Liverpool will have just 1 PL game and Arsenal 2

James Trafford has faced just 21 shots on target in their 11 consecutive clean sheets - including the two late penalties he saved against Sunderland. 11 games is a football league record.

The British record is 14 (Edwin Van der Saar). Burnley's next three opponents are Sheffield Weds (9th), Cardiff (20th), Luton (24th). Trafford will need to go to the 42nd minute of the following game at home to West Brom without conceding to break Van der Saar's record of 1,311 minutes.

What's going on at Mansfield? were looking good for the play offs but now got just 1 point from the last 8 games.

Burton doing a reverse Mansfield. They were bottom and looking doomed, but have 4 wins and 3 draws from the last 8 games

Peterborough in real danger of dropping into the relegation zone. would be a bit of a shock for me. They are a well run club and I always think of them as being one of the big boys at this level. maybe they need to sack Darren Ferguson just so they can bring back Darren Ferguson again

Slipped by me that one, that does seem like quite a big surprise.

I guess their luck of signing a Championship level striker each time they sold another Championship level striker has finally run out and they no longer are able to just out score their opponents, whilst still conceding a couple each game.

Since Reading beat Mansfield, the Stags have won just 2 games and lost 9 of the 12 they’ve played. Stockport have gone into the reverse of that and have won 6 and drawn 1 of the 7 they’ve played since beating Reading. Peterborough have won just 2 league games of the 13 they’ve played since Reading turned them over at London Road. Seems playing Reading and winning or losing recently is signalling a considerable change in playing fortunes for the opponents - therefore hoping that Brum can be gubbed on Saturday!

with 5th place looking likely for CL, I would say everyone down to Brighton in 10th will think they have a real shot at getting in.

I will sick in my mouth a bit if Bournemouth get into the Champions League

Yes, Forest would be bad enough after their shenanigans to get promoted but at least they have a bit of history there. Barcelona & Hove and Boremuff just doesn’t bear thinking about :o

Nah, it will be Grant McCann, who'll get sacked in 6 months and then they'll reappoint Ferguson.
