Sanguine Meanwhile, Hummel's scrapping of Saints' stripes might not go down too well.

Can't see that back 5 working out too well tbh.

Has Lawrie McMenemy always been old?

I didn't realise he was 7'6"
Either that or he was working with midgets

Kevin Keegan and Alan Ball were both midgets. I think it's in height order.

He still looks head and shoulders above anyone else in the lineup

It's false perspective. Whoever took the photo was on a stepladder.

You probably knew that so apologies if it comes across as patronising.

Kevin Keegan was only 5'7".

Lawrie was 6' 4".

So that gives some perspective.

Steve Moran, also David Armstrong went on to work for Reading in some capacity or other in the late 80s/early 90s.

Do the second and fourth people in the photo play for Southampton?

Can’t share as I’m on my mobile but that new Norwich home kit is the shirt of the summer by a distance

That's how to design a yellow kit, take a bow Joma. Wonder what monstrosity Kelme will deliver for Watford this year.

It's very smart that, think I'd have it without the pin stripes though

I don't think Reading's yellow away kit from this season got nearly enough plaudits from the wider audience. It is a smashing kit.

Partick Thistle win the worst kit of 2022/23...

The decimation of the stripes, and a stupid face on the shirt :|
