AthleticoSpizz That’s 3 out of 3 for ‘city’ isn’t it?.....a bit like last season.
No Mitch Parker etc. to desert them this time, but how long until the implosion and another ensuing relegation scrap?

From what I've seen they've not signed a load of money chasing superstars for the level this season so there should be hope for them that they can keep the squad together.
Obviously if they've unearthed a couple of crackers for that level there is a real threat that they'll get their heads turned by someone with a bit more budget, but I don't think they're throwing the money around like before.

The Enfield Royal71 Went to Maidenhead today. Great game and win.
They couldn't go up could they? It was be incredible. They got some tidy players. That Josh Kelly and their keeper are very good.

Interesting that he's become a Northern Ireland U21 international this year. Saw him for Walton Casuals a couple of years ago in the FA Cup, and IIRC won and scored a penalty (a penalty I missed being given as I was too busy putting my drink in the bin)
If i'd known then he was a Maidenhead loanee I would have paid more attention to how he played...
Been an incredible start for Maidenhead, was wondering too how far they could go this season. They've become more professional training 3 days a week at Bisham Abbey now. One of the players said it was like joining a new club. But the ground would prevent them from being eligible for the playoffs wouldn't it?

I think quite a lot have teams have that issue. Such a stupid rule.

If they did pull off the miraculous, surely the could groundshare for a season? With Wycombe?

No way Maidenhead will go up. I went to the Chesterfield game a couple of weeks ago and they already look better than last season, to be fair. Just think there's stronger, full time outfits in the league that will eventually get the better if them. They tend to start seasons well then drop off but I do enjoy my visits down there if Reading aren't playing.
Yeah, if the miracle did happen then Wycombe would be the obvious choice but Maidenhead simply can't build on their current ground. Where would they go?

Old Man Andrews At Bracknell Town. Currently 2-0 up at half time. They look strong.
