Impressed with Liverpool last night.
Fans were in good voice too. Even if a touch repetitive good songs for Suarez and Maxi Rodriguez.
I work near Putney Bridge tube and it was a full on scouse invasion as I was leaving the office last night. Pale skin, strange accents and crew cuts where ever you looked. Don't think any other set of football fans in the UK are as immediately identifiable as the scouers!
The tanned, boat shoe wearing, euro sloanes of Fulham didn't know what to make of it!

Yeah, coz Hodgson had Carroll and Suarez at his disposal, didn't he? Suarez is a cracking player, a real outlet for the team.
I believe they have a lot of money to spend in the summer so they should be back up there next year but along with every other football supporter in the land i'm going to offically LOL at all the "next year is our year" hype that'll be trotted out between now and August.

If they beat Spurs on Sunday they are in the Europa League and Spurs miss out on Europe completely.
Liverpool are 14-1 to win the league next season. For anyone who does not understanding betting that means that if you put down £10, you lose £10.

Agreed,it happens every year that people want to discuss the prospects for England's most successful club especially as they haven't won the European Champs league for a while.
