Like I say every season - I grew up with Chelsea being shite - so any trophy we pick up is a bonus to me.

I'm pretty sure Conte will be expected to regain a top 4 finish in his first season, that will certainly be priority and anything else being a bonus.

I'd pretty much agree with that, although I'd imagine they'll want him to mount a half decent title challenge as well.

The failure this season isn't because the players aren't good enough as they're basically the same ones that won the league last season. It's been more about the atmosphere at the club and the way that they must've just turned on Jose and his methods this season.

It'll be interesting how Conte clears out the squad, it might give an indication of who the club sees as the key players in that dressing room revolt against Jose.

That and a misfiring Hazard certainly hasn't helped.

Interesting to note Chelsea have only lost 4 games out of 42 that Hiddink has been in charge. Surely he must've been worth tempting in permanently?

And we've just gone on the longest unbeaten run of any team this season.

You implying you would've preferred Hiddink?

No. I do like him though. We've had too many draws under Hiddink tbf.

Correct. You would never see Chelsea celebrate late equalising draws like Kloop's Liverpool.

You'd have to go some to murder anyone with your keyboard, even if you wanted to.

Probably looked as just an accessory to drowning there rather than actual murder.

Well played Swansea, cheering the nation.

OTOH Chelsea only need three more points to be safe.

John Terry has paid for the funeral of a Chelsea fan who recently died from leukaemia.

Legend.
