Royalee Didn't realise it's a free kick to Barcelona if you're fouled and fall at their feet...

Victor Meldrew Sometimes I wonder whether you watch the games, to be honest.

TBM
buzzby Well here we go again!!

Barca are simply superb......they move around the pitch with such ease

what walking around and sideways passes.. im sorry.. i could name dozens of premier league matches.. heck even MLS matches that have been better than the much hyped "el clasico" two big teams do not mean much if the play is negative, long balls, petty fouls, and other unsportsmanshiplike behaviour.

So you think it was a foul on Mascherano? Barcelona play easily the best football in the world, but their play acting is embarrassing and should be punished.

You couldn't be more wrong Royalee, I am in complete agreement with you. My post was more of a jovial piss-take of Victor Meldrew's general perspective, to be honest.

Anyone care to explain how Ozil being hacked down on the edge of the box by dear Mascherano wasn't a foul?

Lol fair enough, I hadn't read his comments...I just find it baffling that a team that good needs to cheat and roll about all the time.

Hopefully he'll snap his cruciate rolling around that violently.

LOLz @ the h8

At least Jose managed to get in the ref's head with all his talk of officials handing the cup to Barca. If anyone can explain how Carvahlo, Alonso and Adebayor all failed to bag 2 yellows then I look forward to hearing about it

I'm glad that fixture is now out of the way-playing each other 4 times in such a short period is almost bound to end up in a stalemate,a bit like all those games we had v Walsall in a short space of time.
I wonder how often Walsall have been mentioned in the same breath as Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Good to see "Mes Que Un Club" and their fans showing their class once again. Players diving about all over the place and monkey noises from the terraces. What was wrong with Higuain's goal? Apart from Mascherano falling over after he realised what was about to happen. Again Mascherano tried to get Diarra sent off after he blocked the ball.

Madrid should've had a corner before the Barca goal. Kaka has never won a header in his life and he didn't win one tonight. Mascherano brings Ronaldo down outside the box and nothing was given (LOL at Smith saying Mascherano couldn't get out of the way just as the replay clearly showed him stretching to stop Ronaldo).

Unfortunately they will continue to get away with it because their Uefa cronies will let them because they can string ten passes together before they get anywhere near the opponents box and they support the little kiddies. With his temper Rooney isn't going to last five minutes in the final against those cheating b@stards.

Not for nothing was it known as El West Midlands/Thames Valley Classico.

A lot of monkey chanting towards Dani Alves from the Bernabeu crowd in the 1st leg apparently (according to some Spanish journalist who was moaning about them not being charged for it when other charges were being handed out)

Add Diarra to that list. All of them could easily have gone.

Maybe if the special one sent out his team to win, rather than kick the shit out of the Barca players they wouldn't keep getting sent off.

So we all agree that a predominant amount of the Spanish are racist KANTS and to play in La Liga you have to be an oxf*rd.

Oh maybe *shock horror* it's a bit of both?

Real players overly cynical and foul too much
Barca player dive and feign injury too much

Net Result = potentially great games ruined by both teams.

But Messi always a genius.

The end.
