savage 4 england
leicsRoyal Quite a good article which may explain Mill's move to Leicester.

We can't compete with that. No wonder we're a small club in this division.

Errmm, surely the sentence should read : "We can't compete with that because we're a small club in this division"

Matt Mills thank you for the support you gave me, especially when I wasn't playing and when I made mistakes!

How does the EP get
Reading Evening Post Mill explains that his move was prompted by a desire to play in the Premier League.
from all that?

Am I missing something?

The last paragraph makes it clear the move was about money.

It's the same line that Sidwell gave us "Got to think about my family"

Difference is that Sidwell was the height of professionalism when he played for us and when he left. Mills, not so much.

I find it insulting that he thought that that so-called letter would satisfy us. He thinks we're all mugs.

Everyone slags off Matt Mills but if we were in his position we would have on done the same. 500 grand signing on fee. Doubled his wages to 25 grand a week. And to a club who lets face it have a more than decent chance of going up this season. Footballs a short carer so I say fill your boots son. I know I would.

Obviously it's different for us fans as we love the club, but Jacksons Corner is ofcourse correct.

What would you prefer, a £1 each from his signing on fee?

LOL!

im a mug then, since i dont even need a letter to make up for a player leaving my club.
so as it stands this letter has actually made me feel a bit more positive towards millsy(ill call him that now, millsy, what a guy)than i was

id imagine he wrote it cos he means it, and also so he doesnt get too much stick when we play

He didn't even write it brendy, he just threw some dirty notes at the RFC press officer on his way out of the club and told him to do the bare minimum.

It's about time you woke up.

I think this should be made compulsory for all transfers, personally.

How did he come to such a conclusion? Did he regularly read the team board?

I used to have a lot of respect for Millsy as a professional. Everyone on here knows that I stood up for him at the time of finger-gate. But this is just an insult to everyone who cares about the club.

Too right, if we can't get outraged at a PR letter to us fans what can we get outraged at!
