Compo's Hat Really struggling to work out how Mikel won a CL medal.

He definitely goes into 'Djimi Traore's CL Medal' club.

Shouldn't you be posting on the Europa league thread?

No Fixed Abode Gr8 goal from Oscar last night.

Not too disappointed with the result - as Juve was a tough start, and they deserved a draw. However, that's 3 times in 2 games we've been denied stone wall penalties.

LOL at that being stone wall. Even in the West Upper with their poncey padded seats i could see he went down easy.

That Oscar goal was ridiculous but Juve were full value for the point. Really struggling to work out how Mikel won a CL medal.

Deffo stone wall seeing the replay m8.

Yeh - Juve were good value.

As you were at the game you didn't have the advantage of watching close up stuff on TV.
I don't recall any incident at either end that was anywhere near a penalty let alone a "stonewall one".
Fortunately for Chelsea they are in quite an easy group so should qualify.
Lol at commentators saying about Chelsea playing in the second half like they did to win it,i.e all 10 behind the ball when Juve were so much in control even with Pirlo having an off night.
All that money spent on entertainers and it's still defence mad Chelsea-fortunately for the sake of football last season does just look like a jammy one-off.

Having watched Juventus v Shakhtar tonight it's by no means certain that Chelsea will get out of their group.

BATE Borisov 3-1 Bayern Munich

Some achievement, Borisov aren't big spenders, with only two non-Belarussians in their squad (and one of those is Armenian).

I do agree though with you though m9 - tough games ahead in the group. Said it when the draw was made - Juve and Shaktar are no pushovers.

Great goal from Benzema for Real Madrid.

Best counter attacking goal of the season so far.

Just seen highlights of City game - was it really as one sided as the highlights showed?

As for Rodwell - not the first mistake for him since his big money move

Joe Hart the best keeping display I have seen in years. I counted 8 World class saves.
