LUX 4/1

If they do it I'll pay £20, if not I'll give the fiver I get from the punter to, er, RNLI.

4/1? They are more like a 25/1 shot from here. At least.

Way too short if it was a real bet - If Lux had any sense (which he may do) he'd be counter backing an acca for the remaining 5 games.

Although it is only a score.

Ive layed the bet at 50/1 off an Orient work colleague before the Brentford game and doing exactly that. (sssssshhhh...) Will be a nice profit for me if they make it.

I love it when my mates propose a bet on footy, its aways done as "bet you 20" on one result or another, which almost aways gives you scope to lay/back the opposite at much better odds.

1985/86 record still in tact

by Mid Sussex Royal » 28 Sep 2013 18:12

Leyton Orient's draw with Walsall preserves our 13 wins from start of season record for at least another year....

Still remember some of the late goals to secure wins on that run - shame there was a TV strike and there is hardly any footage of any of it.

Even in the most unlikliest of circumstances had LO done it, we could still credit one of our own (Mooney) for getting them there!

Still a tremendous achievement for a club like Orient.

As someone who saw some cracking wins home and away during that fantastic run I'm always pleased to see that record stay intact for another year. The amount of time we've held the record shows what an amazing feat is was and I wonder if it will ever be beaten..........hope not.

Franchise FC I'm seriously concerned with both the 13 and the 106

It's not worth concerning yourself for another two or three wins yet.

Trophies schmophies - there's a half a dozen of them a year.

In 125 years of league football there's only 5 (I think) clubs who have ever won 14 on the spin and only one who has ever won 13 on the spin from the start of the season.
