Real Madrid have said a few times that they are no longer persuing Ribery and would like Silva instead this summer.

Reckon he would fit in at Barca well, kick Henry out and put him in.

shit, looks a bad injury,I don`t like Man U, but it will be a real hammer blow if this keeps Rooney out of the WC.

Given how he went down and the contact that was made, it wouldn't surprise me if it was a broken metatarsal - which, as has already been posted, will send the media doolally

Replays show he went over on his ankle. Hopefully not too serious

Fair enough - didn't watch more than one brief replay before switching to SSN.

Utd have already said it is not a serious injury.

The one that puts him out of the world cup is yet to come, but still inevitable.

I'm sure United will manage to come up with an injury that keeps him out of the World Cup but ensures he is fresh for the pre season tour of Abu Dhabi and the Community Shield.

I don't know how much Rooney's injury will effect England but if ROFLio defends like he did at the end last night no amount of magic from the spud faced nipper will help
