To be fair he didn't dive, there was clear contact and more than enough to send someone down. That said, he was two yards offside at least so it was really poor from the lino, no blame to the ref.

Agreed - but he was so unlikely to get that ball ahead of the defenders that the lino probably didn't bother to look properly. Rubbish defending, and the longer this goes on the more likely it look that Cardiff will snatch it.
