Dan James is a decent player but clearly not United level. He works better playing with space in behind, a luxury you’re barely afforded with Man United as most teams defend deep against them. With Ronaldo and Sancho joining and Cavani returning to fitness (with Rashford at a future point too) it makes sense for him to move on

Leaves Leeds in a pickle. Fear for them a bit if they can't replace Phillips adequately.

Haven’t seen anything about Phillips going the other way - how reliable is it? As per Drinkwater, if what you say is correct, think he’ll struggle at United

Potential for second season syndrome for Leeds if so? Would follow a fairly similar pattern to our first Prem campaign if so, close to Europe first season, lose one of the key players, don’t build upon the initial foundations and then falter

Saw a lot of the same things being reported on social media, that being said it could be one outlet getting over excited and others picking up on it. No way am I suggesting it is nailed on.

Phillips played extremely well for England this summer, really surprised me. Think he will do great at United, high energy midfielder who can sure things up and crucially he is surrounded by better players there which I think is why he did well for England. He didn't have to do everything and run the entire game like he does at Leeds. He's at the very least an upgrade on Fred.

Not sure that’s saying a lot

Whilst Fred has improved from his original state, he’s clearly the weak link in the side

Still think Leeds have too good of a manager to be in trouble or be near relegation. If they can keep Bamford and Raphinia on form that is

Kean to Juve - again - confirmed.

This has been a mad transfer window. Feel like it's a big reset for a lot of teams.

Strange player Kean. Looked really good at Juve the first time, really poor at Everton and then really good at PSG last season. Definitely a player there, can only put it down to mismanagement at Everton.

Ronaldo to United officially announced. Great signing for them, they are a CDM away from being favourites for the title imo.

Anything big likely to go through today? Would've liked to see Traore to Spuds, but don't think that's going to happen now.

RG30 Had a few quid on Moise Kean back to Juventus. Would suit all parties.

Great shout. Did you get any sort of price? Was already 1/2 when I saw your post.

Favourites? Not with Ole as manager.

Clearly they've accidentally gone a PL record 28 games unbeaten away from home, in spite of their manager.

He has improved a lot to be fair to him. I think he is the best man for Manchester United currently, defintiely gets the best out of the players he has. Turned Pogba's United career around.

I've actually done United a disservice there, it isn't just a PL record, but an historical English football league record. United last lost an away game at Anfield in January 2020.

2/1, hardly going to pay the mortgage but I have a few of the transfer journos on tweet notifications and from memory Ornstein had it first and price was too good to ignore.
