SanguineTBM I'm no Chelsea fan but this story is getting boring now
The train was rammed, there was no room for the lad anyway. The chants weren't the reason he couldn't get on
Why swallow that argument? There were people getting off the train.

To get away from the "English thugs" - notice how many people were still stood on the platform, not getting on but this dude tried to squeeze on an already packed train. Someone then starts chanting a racist chant, other join in and all of a sudden the "not allowing the man to board the train was cos he was black".
To ban those fans is a bit too much if you ask me - Chelsea have only done it to shut the PC brigade up.

Perhaps the people on the platform did not wish to board the train. Perhaps others were intimidated by the (obvious) group of football fans.
Combating racism is not about being PC.
I know you're doing this on purpose TBM, I just don't know why.

So IF they didn't chant the song, would it still have been racist cos he was black and they didn't let him board the train? - what if they had said "we hate the french and we don't care" - would they still have got the ban from Chelsea?

Sanguine They did chant the song.
You seem to be asking me, 'if they weren't racist, would they have been suspended from Chelsea for being racist?'
Thankfully, as with most stupid racists, they were stupid enough to be obvious about it.

Ouroboros They shoved a black guy off the train and then celabrated it by saying that they liked being racist.
Yeah, it's a tricky one to call.

Ok, but is that a crime?
They didn't direct any racism towards the man, whilst they were shoving him. How can you be sure the person pushing him was doing it for racist reasons just cos a few lads behind him started a chant. Its like if a mate of mine punches a black dude and then me saying "he did that cos he's racist".

No, its like a mate of yours punching a black guy while you and the rest of your mates chant "we are racist, we are racist".

What if it was a white guy and they chanted "we're racist, we're racist" would that still result in a ban?

Yeah, life is just so fantastic for black people.
Ok, racism is obviously a tricky subject for you so let’s try something different.
Let’s say it’s someone’s birthday in the office. They have laid out some cakes on the empty desk for people to enjoy. You walk into the office with your friends chanting “we hate cakes, we hate cakes” and you walk up to the desk and kick the cakes right out of the window. A rational human being, in the absence of certainty, would opt for the hypothesis with the least amount of speculation and deduce that you kicked the cakes out of the window because you hate cakes.
You'd imagine, if your office was trying to clamp down on people being abusive towards cakes, you would face some sort of punishment.
Of course there would be some dickhead going out of his way to protest with convoluted excuses that "cakes have it easy these days" and that the real underclass are the "white middle class biscuits" but at the end of the day acting in a way that could be perceived as anti-cake accompanied by anti-cake sing song, is going to attract attention from pro-cake people like it or not.
