Hardly surprising but does seem as if Luton are just reverting to their mean after historic success. At their current size, they are around a lower half Champ/top L1 size. If they want to shift that to being a lower PL/top Champ club then they need their new stadium.

Heard it was going to be Jose. Which is the last thing Everton need right now imo

How would this go down with Everton? Is he a legend there, or do they have a touch of the West Hams where they think they can do better?

Agree with this. It will only tarnish his legacy at Everton and certainly isn't going to get the sort of time he got last time.

New owners, rumours of decent money to be made available, a club and area he already know well, new stadium on the way in 6 months time. I can see why he would want it. Might be quite a battle for the rest of the season though.

listening to today's Price Of Football podcast (today's one is very is very interesting) and Kieran Maguire said that he knows of a high profile Premier league club who not so long ago had their manager + 5 former managers all on the payroll still so as to avoid large payouts and spread them over multiple seasons

I know its standard in Italy to do this as it not only spreads payments out but also forces the manager to resign and forfeit some of the money, but in this country now its just being done for PSR reasons.

6 of them at one time!!

Can’t help but feel it’s yet another abuse of rules. Would suggest this sort of thing should outlawed immediately, clubs have to be forced to take responsibility.
