bobbybottler
RG30 Benfica to beat Getafe tomorrow at the Stadium of Light, Ladbrokes had them as EVS but you can get better elsewhere, I'll be lumping big.

Getafe on an unbeaten run which includes an away win at Real Madrid plus holding Valencia goalless, Benfica only won four home league matches all season in a weaker league. If anything I fancy a lay of Benfica.

Well called bobbybottler, naturally I stuck with my judgement and backed Benfica, though them going down to 10 men inside 10 minutes didn't help matters. Am I right in thinking Getafe have serious financial difficulties and the players haven't been paid for months?

IMO, Plymouth are a massive 5/6 to beat Sheffield United tomorrow - so I've had a cheeky treble on the following:

Plymouth to beat Sheff Utd @ 5/6
Blackpool to beat Southampton @ 5/6
MK Dons to beat Grimsby @ 11/10

£5 returns £35.32

Slightly shorter odds in League 1 but I may have a go on:

Swansea to beat Millwall @ 2/5
Carlisle to beat Brighton @ 8/13
Doncaster to beat Port Vale @ 4/11

£5 returns £15.50

Should Plymouth read 6/5? If you got 5/6 you've been done. 11/10 on Coral.

Bristol City are 2/1 to win at Leicester today, having won 2 of their last 3 away games (and drawn at Charlton). Leicester lost their last home game to Preston. City have no new injuries or suspensions, can't ignore that price.

And Sheff Weds are missing two players to suspension for the visit of QPR, who would look decent value on form grounds anyway, at 9/5.

And not in my acca, but Bournemouth are 9/2 to win at Leeds. Leeds have been struggling of late, and haven't scored more than 1 since 5th January. Bournemouth have turned things around a little, 5 wins and 1 draw in their last 9, and look like a good single bet.

Bristol City 2/1
QPR 9/5
Carlisle 8/13

And a single on Bournemouth at 9/2.

Yes I know it is after the event but it was a last minute bet and I have just got home.
I went for a day to enjoy with a £10 treble:-
Portsmouth
Liverpool
Reading
Paid £375

plus
£50 on Reading to have more corners than City (we do get a lot of corners)
Paid £90

plus a £30 treble on
Hartlepool
Southend
WBA
If West Brom win it will have been a great weekend.

RG30 Value wise, I think Portsmouth are decent at 11/1 E/W to win the FA Cup. Preston in the next round, and they'll be at least 3 non Premiership sides in the Fa Cup QF, with 1 of the "big 4" going out at Round 5.

Why didn't I follow my instinct???????????

Portsmouth
Barnsley
Cardiff

plus Bristol Rovers or West Brom. Would love Barnsley to draw Cardiff in the semis, to guarantee a 'proper' lower league side in the final.

Had a £20 double on Juve & Schalke, returned £84. Made up for my loss on a Blackburn/Nottingham Forest double.
