Hungerford 1 Dulwich 1. A result which means Hungerford are relegated to the Southern Premier League. Hungerford had a player sent off early in the first half but took the lead half way through the second half. They then battered Dulwich but missed some glorious chances before conceding a late equaliser after which there was a goalmouth fracas leading to another man sent off from each side and then a further Dulwich got his marching orders for dissent leaving the game as a 9 a side. A valiant effort by the crusaders in front of over 700 fans including a decent following from Dulwich.

6 separate Wrexham articles on the first page of football on the BBC website..

I say 6, 4 of them are about Ryan Reynolds.

But then the BBC have sod all proper football so when they have an opportunity to cover some plus get to suck up on a Hollywood angle and attract all the fans of those “celebs” in as well it’s really not a surprise. If there weren’t any “celebs” there it’d get no more than the standard throw away comment.

paultheroyal If Thatcham score we’re on the pitch.

Oh and stick your tik tok up your arse!!

Oh my, what a match, what an occasion. Just brilliant scenes after the game!!!

Basingstoke were not great but got the job done. When Walton were 2:1 up the atmosphere died…. And then as so many fans were watching the live stream of thatcham game went that goal went in it was utter bedlam!!

Oh my days!! 1600 in attendance but with academy kids in with parents best part of 2000 in there today.

Best part is the league chairman and presentation committee were at thatcham with trophy and medals. They were racing back down the A339 to get to Basingstoke where everyone stayed behind to see the presentation.

Up the bloody ‘Stoke… what a day!!

Great stuff.

(Thoughts are with Nath.)

Just a brilliant occasion. To go toe to toe, knowing it slipped away, to then be in pole position, then not to be, then Walton make a pigs ear of the last five minutes, scenes at the end and how news filtered through will live long in memory.

Club with no money, no ground, community club, to go up in spectacular fashion is just brilliant! Commiserations to those are hurting this morning

While I'd love to see Bracknell go up, you have to wonder how much of a drain on resources trying to put out a decent team at that level would be, while still playing in Sandhurst.

And obviously, still disappointingly quiet regarding moving back to the town.

- Last games on Tue evening : Harefield v Chalfont StP, Windsor v (their lodgers) VW - 'Jets' are at Hilltop but are 8 goals worse off than Windsor.
- One of CH St P or Windsor, may need to see if their PPG is good enough, compared to other STEP05 sides finishing one from bottom, for them to avoid relegation.

Wokingham & Emmbrook 2-2 Virginia Water -att 235
CCL-PS
AFC Croydon Athletic 2-2 Abbey Rangers
Badshot Lea 3-1 Fleet Town – att 196 – BL finish runner-up - could be good on PPG for a direct promotion to STEP04 – finished 15 points above 3rd placed ‘Bulls’

Berks County 3-0 AFC Aldermaston
Brook House 2-4 Spartans Youth
CB Hounslow United 1-0 Woodley United
Cove
1-3 British Airways
Langley 1-1 Eversley & California
London Samurai Rovers 6-1 FC Deportivo Galicia - att 150
Molesey 2-1 Bagshot
Sandhurst Town
1-1 Rayners Lane – still not clear yet quite how many actual fixtures ‘Fizzers’ have remaining – BC who re-took top-spot by 1 point definitely have 2 (H v Langley 29/04 & A v Hillingdon 01/05).
- On FA FullTime – ‘Town’ have 2 matches scheduled – tomorrow (Mon 24/04) @ Brook Ho then on Sat away v Spartans (@ Northwood)
– as before the Official site has them currently top with three remaining but doesn’t list any? No clues on forthcoming games on Sandhurst's Twitter yet - nor in this w/e’s programme – I’m not sure they necessarily know themselves for certain - especially if the CC League Committee are still to adjudicate on previous games called off?

Westside 0-0 Penn & Tylers Green

HELL- P
Wantage Town 3-3 Hereford Pegasus - ‘Freds’ finish the season a below par 10th, with RWBT in 5th and Shrivvy down in 14th – Bradford Town and Chipping Sodbury probably relegated …
- in Div One Milton lost 1-2 on Thu evening, at runners-up Hartpury Uni. to finish 3rd behind Champions Pershore Town
- Ab. U finished a respectable 6th (though may yet be caught by Calne who play on Mon evening) with Clanfield '85 in 4th and Long Crendon mid-table

SSM-P
Biggleswade United 1-2 Aylesbury Vale Dynamos
Risborough Rangers
4-1 Tring Athletic -att 167 R.Rgrs eventually finish 3rd – paid for a below average start to the season: possibly a hangover from the disappointment of 21/22 when they were pipped to the title at the last by New Salamis and I think had grading issues preventing promotion anyway?
- Leighton Town are champions – back to STEP04 after 7 seasons and also seeing a healthy increase in attendances for some bigger games, towards the end of the campaign but overall their average is down very slightly? .

SSM-1
Amersham Town 1-1 Northampton O.N.Chenecks
Moulton 3-0 London Tigers
Thame United Reserves 0-1 Buckingham Athletic
- Amersham have had their best season for some time, finishing a very decent 4th – especially considering the influx of some fairly strong clubs transferring in from other leagues this term.
- Holmer Gn wobbled badly but picked up enough in the last couple of months, to lift themselves clear of trouble.
- Amersham’s lodgers ‘Tigers’ finished 2nd bottom with Thame Ressies last.

WESS-P
Laverstock & Ford 3-0 Alresford Town
- high drama at the top here: Horndean finally edged past season-long leaders, AFC Portchester, during the week with their 11th & 12th straight win.
- They then promptly lost 1-2 at home to Bemerton Heath Harlequins yesterday - who themselves move to 3rd – crowd of 531.
- Horndean’s GD is vastly superior : on Tuesday AFC go to Bemerton :? - whilst Hordean host Portland – probably needing a win to ensure the title goes to Five Heads Park?
- has been noted that there were some astonishing crowds in this division with BHH, Moneyfields (up 60%) and Fareham amongst clubs attracting relatively huge increases, compared to the previous season and Portch (up 80%) of course drawing in four figures – close to 1500 for their recent defeat at home to Horndean.

WESS-1
Andover New Street 5-0 East Cowes Victoria
Andover Town 1-2 Fawley AFC
Hamworthy Recreation 3-0 Petersfield Town
New Milton Town 2-0 Ash United

…and finally (this week anyway  ) in the Western Premier League - surprise Champions are Mousehole (sited beyond Penzance  - play at the delightfully tagged 'Trungle Parc' ) – that’ll shake up a few travel budgets in SL1-South for next season – a mere 3 ½ hours west of Bristol – on a good M5 day!!!
Saltash Utd may join them at STEP04 based on PPGs or via the POs – assuming grading allows?

Would say Mousehole’s travel budget will be a little greater than all the other clubs and if they’re able to do it then all the others should be too. For the record Mousehole actually play in the village of Paul which is just north of Mousehole itself, think the ground is somewhere behind the church in the village. Longest trip might be to Evesham if they lose in the play offs.

There’s a little rumour I’ve heard that Windsor face a points deduction for fielding an ineligible player.

No idea if there is any substance to that.

Not getting much love on here, but Didcot Town won 3-2 on Saturday in front of a crowd of 633 and secured third place in the Southern Central League - Div One . Cracking game and top atmosphere. Play-off semi at home to Walthamstow this Wednesday.
