England Tickets

by Boyle the Royal » 23 Jan 2011 20:09

Do any of you lot ever go to England games? If so, how easy is it to get tickets? I'm living in Germany at the moment but will be back in the UK at the end of March when we are playing Wales away and Ghana at home.

The Wales tickets are on sale now to England Gold members and I'm guessing it will sell out before it goes on any kind of general sale. What about friendlies? Is a friendly against Ghana likely to sell out?

For england away games you need to be part of the englandfans setup with the gold membership. So therefore the tickets will never be on general sale to the public. But for home games the best thing to do is check on thefa.com as this is the best place to obtain home international tickets. Hope that helps.

I used to be part of the England Members club with plenty of loyalty points (or whatever they were) accrued over years of watching England Away so could get tickets for pretty much any game. Then they disbanded the club and tried to do away with anyone who was a member of the old club. Not been since.

And if you thought Reading fans were shirt wearing mongs these days, wait til you go to an England Home game .

For some of the internationals coming up, phone Wembley and tell them what time you can get there for the game and they'll start change the start time to suit.

Going to Denmark in a couple of weeks and will be doing Bulgaria and almost certainly Wales. Got Denmark tickets in the home end but not sure how to get tickets for Wales away.
For home games believe all you need to do is join up on the online ticketing site for free so you get a FAN number. You will then need to go in to a ballot once the tickets are on general sale.
