Ginger Ninjas Clearly not - his performance and attitude at the World Cup demonstrates that perfectly.
Irrespective of the question in hand, why is Baldini talking to the players involved, should be the manager's job.

Even though JT was the only played to stand up and question the attitude of the players during the World Cup? He won alot of respect for that apparently.

Tails Bored of the Terry vitriol now - I'll never like him but to continue this vendetta against a man who [like it or not] represents a significant characteristic of footballers, the English, general humanity is futile and unproductive. If you think that vilifying him will act as some sort of catharsis of your own misgivings well, you wont achieve much. So we are going to give it to the likes of Cole instead? Or to others that might just be the next Beckham? Pah.
How about drawing a line under the sand and give it to someone that will remain in the team for the foreseeable, who will 'lead' the team as much as football captains do these days [not that I think its a sport that calls for a significant role of a captain].
If that man is Terry then give it to him. Terry becoming captain wont be a back down, the punishment was to take the captaincy away, true power would be to have the strength to give it back to him [so long as its on England's terms and no one else].
