Tbh, any plain shirt looks repetative almost all the time. I'm glad we have hoops. Even if we don't like a few shirts, at least we get some variety. United's and Chelsea's look very samey.

Kind of like the Liverpool away tho.

Why are we bothered about minor teams like Liverpool? I want to know whether Bolton will be ditching the ridiculous lines next year.

New Sunderland AFC shirt (note no back panel again) - Why do we persist with one?

Rumoured new Arsenal home shirt. (away shirt rumoured to be blue and white stripes :| )

Because the contrast between black letters and blue hoops is much less that the contract between black and red.

Sunderland's from distance is not very clear at all and they don't go for the back panel.
QPR have the red option and don't go for the back panel.
I can't see why we don't follow QPR's example.

roadrunner Why we can't just do what QPR do I don't know.

Who needs panels anyway?

Clear enough to me. The QPR player is No.15 Wayne Routledge and the Sunderland player is No.33 Asamoah Gyan.

Add to that the QPR home shirt is probably the best home shirt in our division at the moment.

Agreed. I think we started this season without the panel, is that right (or was that last season?) but then we were on telly, they added it and kept it. It isn't needed, fans don't like it, but no-one at Reading listens/cares.

*sigh.

Ipswich Town

http://www.football-shirts.co.uk/fans/i ... home_10720

Ipswich town have revealed their new Mitre made home shirt for the 2011/12 season. Fans can pre-order the shirt now, but only the first 5000 shirts will include the three stars seen over the club badge. They represent the clubs three major trophies; Football League Champions in 1961/62 under Sir Alf Ramsey who would go on to lead England to World Cup victory in 1966. Under Bobby Robson the FA Cup in 1978, beating Arsenal in the final and in 1981 the UEFA Cup against AZ Alkmaar of the Netherlands.

Newcastle

Rumoured to be the new Newcastle shirt.

Nice.

Interesting to see Crystal Palace offered their fans (as I believe Sheff Weds did) the chance to vote for their home and away kits, and they (Wednesday) are Puma manufactured.
