Considering how rubbish we are at international stuff lately, I'm not suprised with that figure.

Stupid idea to hold all the games in Ireland. Should of played them in different countries, possibly back to back.

Should HAVE.

And the Welsh only played yesterday as well. Silly, should have spread out the games more.

And why aren't the English in it? I guess it's because it's too early, should have scheduled it two weeks later.

for all of the above reasons

A very sad/failed attempt of reigniting the home nation hysteria of the 1970's

You guess wrong.

The FA decided NOT to get involved as they thought it wasn't appropriate for England's build up to the 2012 Euro's, because the club managers would bitch and moan about their stars having to play more football, and of course, because of the U21 finals that England are in.

Exactly, and due to the fact that we recently lost ...

England 2-0 Wales
ROI 3-0 Wales
Scotland 3-0 Wales

It was ok in the 1970's but the worst match I ever been to in my life was England v Wales at Wembley circa mid to late 70's...may have been later but its so long ago that I can't remember. It was 0-0 and dire. The crowd was barely 30,000. I just cannot see the point of one reserve side playing another.

There was an England v Wales Home International at Wembley in 1971, that ended 0-0, the same night as Chelsea's Cup Winners Cup Final replay against Real Madrid; can't imagine that happening today can you?
