Looking at the way West Ham demolished Watford last night they could be on for the 106.

^ by that logic. so could a lot of teams who have had impressive starts to the season

And as has been shown over the past few seasons - most tend to fall away from the 106 pace by Christmas, and the remainder by around February. Don't forget that Newcastle didn't manage to beat the record two years ago and they pretty much strolled to the title.

Looking at the way West Ham demolished Watford last night they could be on for the 106.

For 45 minutes we gave them a decent game but a very soft goal (2nd) right on half time killed us and they had it easy after the break.

I know they've got fewer points to play for but Blackburn can't get 106 - the first casualty - 90 to go

I wonder if there is another club in the world with RFC's relatively small stature to hold a collection of such impressive records?

Most points in a league season, most wins to begin a season, most goals in a single game - I just imagine these records are the preserve of the 'big teams' in other countries.

To be fair there's nothing prestigious about the last one. We largely hold that record because we conceded 7.
