Paolo would have done the same as a player.........seemingly he is like Mancini, i.e. not liking players to behave in a maverick way as they both once did!!

That's one way for Di Canio to get rid of him. From what I've heard - he's looking to ship out a few more too....

Nope. QPR paid him off less than a year after bringing him in. He's trouble.

Fair enough Jay, I didn't remember that one.

Not one I'd would've fancied here either.

Are you accusing PDC of being a racist?

from the other thread on this

Have to admit my first thought was 'who'd a thunk putting a confirmed fascist in charge of your football club is a bad thing?' but it appears the initial disagreement was between the fitness coach and Clarke.

Amazing.

Why would he look to ship the bloke out when he only signed him 11 days ago? Think it through. If he really is that rascist he wouldnt have signed him in the first place.

Bunch of nobbers, the lot of you.

@ Yately. Yep. Because it's impossible to employ black people to do a job, and at the same time be racist.

All those slave owners down the ages, Guardian readers the lot of 'em.

There must be thousands of examples of racist people employing racial minorities, not least most slave owners after slavery was made illegal, white farmers in south africa etc. Add to that that its quite possible to be racist without hating black people specifically, there are other racial minorities out there.

Added to that many people get through their life by separating work and personal beliefs. I used to work in a kitchen with a neo nazi czech chef, he worked fine alongside the black south african chef, but assured me, (in German, the kitchen was in england and english was the language used to communicate) that he would never, ever, consider socialising with the black chef outside work.

He has in the past expressed strong links to openly far right and anti semitic groups, and afaik has never publicly distanced himself from that past. Don't really see why nobbers are making excuses for the pcunt.

It's probably because, as your own initial comment admits, he's not actually done anything racist ...

(and not just in this situation. The worst thing I can see he's done in his career is push a ref and a facist salute while at Lazio, but he's from a very working class Roman suburb. What do you expect?)
