The Qataris inherited cook as Chief Exec from the previous regime, and I've never been convinced they particularly rated him. Therefore this is the perfect opportunity to get rid, so I suspect they will take it and not let him get away paying someone off.

What a daft world we live in where the doings of an administrator make the back pages of our newspapers.
It's bad enough the cult of the manager/coach and of chairmen/owners but now reading about backroom staff strikes me as having f*** all to do with sport.
Next it will be what is happening in the canteen at Umbro or in the post room at Nike.
It's bad enough that we have pages and pages on here with conjecture about the wealth of our chairman when nobody knows anything.
