Two things about the stadium in Rio

First - four teams have been sharing the stadum with no problem at all. Three of them in the equivalent of the PL. Why can't West Ham and Leyton Orient do the same ?

Second - a stadium only half a dozen years old and having structural issues.

A friend of mine runs a business which serves the stadium and the business is screwed until the roof is fixed.

Given the same happened to tyhe Maracana you'd think someone would have learned a lesson - appears not.

At that location yep, well 54000 or whatever it will be going down to. It will essentially be the O2 for casual (not in the burbs sense) football fans.

I am looking forward to all the family, Reading-esque things that will have to do to fill it though. I expect call music, half time ascertainment and for West Ham fans to be the minority when they play Manchester utd every year.

I must be having a senior moment.

I thought West Ham were failing to fill the stadium they've got now.
