Into The Valley-Dunfermline

by Into The Valley » 17 Apr 2013 17:29

Dunfermline Athletic F.C. are the latest in a long line of football clubs suffering from years of financial mismanagement at the hands of the blazerati, who have been masquerading as upstanding custodians of our proud 128-year-old football club.

Our club is now in administration and Pars fans are pulling together to raise enough funds to get us through the remaining weeks of the season.

One of our initiatives is a fundraising evening at East End Park this Saturday, where we will have a number of ex-players and managers appearing. We are also running an auction and raffle and we are appealing to the wider football community to lend us a hand.

You can do this by purchasing a raffle ticket for £5. Payment can be made via Paypal to: matthew_lafferty@hotmail.com.

Here is a list of raffle prizes you could win:

* Signed (x 10) 1961 Pars Scottish Cup-winning team photograph

Wish you all the best, but I'm f**ked if I'm putting my money towards a Scottish club.

Good luck.

:lol:

Jay o/ sat on the fence there. Sadly a lot of clubs are in big trouble. There seems to be a few each season now. My money is being put aside for Reading AFC when our club goes under some time in the future. Good luck though.

Easy to forget that arguably the finest 2 Scottish managers to have lived (Jock Stein and Alex Ferguson) first made a name for themselves with the Pars.

One of the main reasons Scottish football is so dire is that there are far too many clubs. Dunfermline going bust would probably do the league a favour.

Apart from that, I couldn't give a toss about you clubs. Scots are such bigoted people and have no problem slagging us off at every opportunity and often support England's opposition more than your own national team. Now you come to us cap in hand...for that alone, go fook yourself.

You could kick 20+ clubs out of the Scottish League. It wouldn't make a blind bit of difference to the gates at Partick or Ayr or Dunfermine.

The problem with Scottish football is that far too many of the population support Rangers or Celtic. Having them play in England would help the Scottish clubs either. They'd still get the fans and all the media coverage.

yeah the English aren't bigoted. In fact this post shows what a great, not-at-all chippy bunch we are. Well done Ern.
