Playing for keeps

by peterroyal76 » 27 Feb 2014 20:48

Now that England have named their squad for next weeks friendly against Denmark. Roy has picked four keepers and can only take three to Brazil, who would you leave out?

The four are:Hart, Foster, Forster and Ruddy.

I personally would leave out Foster even though I think he's a better keeper than Ruddy or Forster. I know Roy wanted him back in the squad, but I don't think he should of been brought back after he 'retired' before.

I think he's been playing well lately.
Who would you start with?

I think Forster is hugely under-rated because of the league he is playing in. Traditional, commanding keeper, owns his area.

If Forster was any good he'd concede 0 (zero) goals in an SPL season

I'd leave out Foster & Ruddy and take McCarthy, but that's just me being local yokel.
