Who do you WANT to win the PL this season?

by Man Friday » 02 Mar 2014 21:01

Not who you think will, but who you want to - only including realistic options e.g. not Spurs, Everton etc.

Liverpool for me. BR's doing great (somehow), they're playing attractive football and I'd like to see England captain one-club man Gerrard win the league before he retires.

Shouldn't this thread be renamed "how many Liverpool fans do we have on the forum"

Don't call me Shirley...

And yes even them although I'd prefer City out of all the contenders. Having to come to terms with that awful toad getting Liverpool to the CL is bad enough. The thought of the smug adulterous little git winning the league makes my skin crawl.

+1

Reading fans really must be gutted they got rid of one of the best young managers around, whilst the slide down the football league continues.

Not this one. Would rather be in the Ryman Premier than have that slimeball as manager.

I voted City.

Arsenal and Chelsea are absolute no - nos.

Nothing particular against Liverpool tbh, but the thought of their fans gloating on here is too much for me. Hope they blow it on the last day and finish second.

Spurs or Everton would of course be preferable.

Nobody.

The premier league title race, even in unpredictable seasons such as this one, is the exclusive domain of the big clubs now - not just winning it, being even being remotely in contention for it.

I couldn't get a single ounce of pleasure from any of them winning it. Even Arsenal, who've had a long trophy drought, lose all sympathy because of their fans. I mean, when your team are so bad that they lose 1-0 at Stoke, and are only on course for a points tally the equivalent of 97 points in a 46-game championship season, it really is the kind of hardship that can make fans break down in tears on tv.

So do I, but I take an interest in loads of other stuff, some of it trivial, some of it important. It's what makes the world go round.

Isn't the championship pretty much just as predictable and based on expenditure though?
