Was doing some non-league 'anorak-surfing' and stumbled across this:-

... I'm probably getting too old and infirm to get this right but didn't he play against us for someone @ Elm Park many years ago - Orient or Barnet?

Barnet.

I remember the game. He had the Hoddle look about him, obviously but bigger and less skilful than his brother.

Sad news. 40 is far too young. :cry:
