Wigan beating Brum!

Hat-trick actually scored in 8 minutes.

Quite an escape for Tredder's lot today.

QPR 2-2 Preston FT (Ainsworth 90, Blackstock 90; Mellor 37, Priskin 64)

Colchester delayed their relegation by beating Ipswich.

Swansea were nearly up, but did a Preston, at home to Bournemouth.

Swansea 1-2 Bournemouth L (Robinson 50; Partington 90, Kuffour 90)

The Mourinho love-in continues. Doesn't matter how many games Chelsea win, no-one likes AvROFLam.

Superb game at the Riverside. At last Alves starts to look like a decent player.

2-2 final score.

Well, well, well this supposed wonder team from Manchester with the supposed best player in the world playing for them get a spawny point at 'boro to just keep their destiny in their own hands.
They may well go on to win the title but as of today they are just 3 points above a Chelsea side that so many on here and in the press have derided and described as not being very good and yet somehow are 1 win behind this Man Utd lot.
The season is now set up for a storming finish especially with Man Utd having still to play Arsenal plus Chelsea,Blackburn and Wigan away and they are not that special away from that very old Trafford.
Super team my arse.
A good team yes but far from being the wonder team.

Twenty seven games without a win - a new Premier league record for Derby

Disappointed for Barnsely as they looked the better side and have done more than any other team to liven up this year's cup. How the big fella missed I really don't know.

As for the PL weekend, United's defence looked really quite weak with Vidic out and if Rio is also going to miss some action they could be really up against it. Having said that, I really really hope they beat Chelsea next week

Yep, his winner against Chelsea is his only goal in his last 34 games. He makes Shane Long look prolific.
