Manchester United and Liverpool Fans.

Manchester united always get a slating for having loadsa fans that don't come from manchester. But I'd say liverpool have virtually the same proportion even though they are a smaller club. I've been to loadsa games at Anfield and seen liverpool at the Bridge numerous times and the Community shield final too. Most Liverpool fans had southern accents or irish. Even on Sky sports news every fan they interviewed was Irish!

Those two are not the only ones. Arsenal and Chelsea have a similar number of fans who are far away from their stadiums.....

Chelsea when you don't live in West London.

Pretty much the most pointless argument in football. A fair chunk of football supporters of every club support their teams for reasons that have nothing to do with geography. Always have and always will. Quite why people oxf*rd themselves stupid over it is beyond me.

Any Reading fans west of Kansas City are plastic glory hunters.

I take my nephew to football practice on Sat when i'm over in N Ireland. You'd be able to tell who won the league in which year based on who's kit is bing worn by the different age groups. The younger kids usually support whoever won the league the year

Remember the majority of Chelsea fans originate from an area very close to Stamford Bridge - Fulham

You've got a point. This happens with most Prem clubs. I know of people who travel to watch Reading from as far afield as Lower Earley.
